Public Relations Important For Success

Successful Lions Clubs understand the importance of community support for their service projects and fundraising.   They obtain this community support through an effective public relations plan.

This web page is designed to give local Lions Clubs basic information on how they can begin their own public relations program.

"Good public relations begins at the club level and can only be accomplished by you," says Immediate Past International President Jimmy Ross of Quitaque, TX

Planning Continues For Internet-Based

MD-2 Texas Lions Promotional Advertising

The 2007-2008 MD-2 Council of Governors has authorized development of Internet-based banner advertising and a supplemental web site promoting the Lions of Texas and the humanitarian service they provide.

The campaign is set to begin in December 2007.  Copy is being written and photos are being collected for use on the new web page.

If your club or district has a great photo of Lions in service, please send to PDG Carmon McCain as soon as possible!

Updates will be provided as this project progresses.
